Emma Alington creates beautiful bone china tableware that will never go out of style.

From her studio in Berkshire, Emma creates beautiful designs with function in mind. Making most of her work on the potter's wheel, Emma throws with either stoneware or porcelain clays and handcrafts pieces that are suited for everyday tableware and homeware purposes. Her pieces have a simplistic and elegant design with the stunning porcelain white and gold trim which is has such a classic and timeless style.

After graduating with First Class Honours in Ceramic Design, Emma established her own business as a ceramic designer straight away in 2013 and has been making ever gorgeous designs ever since. She frequently collaborates with private and commercial clients whilst also designing and making her own collections. She also enjoys creating bespoke commissions for clients.

AUTHOR has collaborated with Emma to create a gorgeous line of classic English Bone China tableware with 22ct gold rim and the delightful addition of the AUTHOR logo in the interior in gold.

There is a tactility to Emma's work that is so pleasing to touch. The gorgeous gold trim against the porcelain white is such an elegant and classic design that will always be a favourite to AUTHOR. We also love the her fun, exquisite spotty plate that is covered with delightful gold spots.
