AUTHOR at Future Icons Selects 2025

As part of London Craft Week, AUTHOR participated in Future Icons Selects, a premier showcase of contemporary craft. Held from 15th to 18th May 2025, this year’s event took place in the vibrant creative hub of Shoreditch, London. The exhibition at 83 Rivington Street spanned an impressive 9,000 square feet across three stunning industrial arches and an outdoor terrace garden, transforming into a lively social hub that complimented the creative atmosphere.

AUTHOR was delighted to meet and collaborate with many talented makers featured in Future Icons Selects, including ceramists, silversmiths, woodworkers, furniture makers and bronze casters. The diversity and innovation on display made the show an eclectic, stimulating and deeply inspiring. Each maker brought a unique perspective and skill set, contributing to a rich tapestry of craftsmanship that resonated with all those who attended.

A Supportive and Authentic Experience

The atmosphere throughout the week was supportive, stimulating and authentic. The sunny weather added to the vibrant energy of the event, creating an inviting environment for visitors and exhibitors alike. Shoreditch, a neighbourhood previously unfamiliar to our team, proved to be an inspiring backdrop for the showcase. We were honoured be part of this dynamic community and appreciated the many visitors who chose Future Icons Selects as part of their London Craft Week journey.

Gratitude to Louisa Pacifico and our Makers

A special thank you goes to Louisa Pacifico, the founder and organiser of Future Icons Selects whose vision and dedication made the event possible. Her commitment to championing makers and fostering a platform for their work is truly commendable. Many of our makers hand-delivered their pieces, allowing us to reconnect and celebrate their craftsmanship in person, a gesture we deeply appreciated.

Looking Ahead

London Craft Week serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of nurturing, encouraging, and supporting creators. It reinforces the value of craftsmanship and the stories behind each piece, fostering a deeper appreciation for the artisans who shape our world. AUTHOR is grateful for the opportunity to be part of this celebration and looks forward to continuing to support and collaborate with talented makers in the future.
