If you’re a professional commercial interior designer, interior stylist, property developer, architect, show home or hotel designer, we would encourage you to join the AUTHOR Interiors’ Trade programme.

AUTHOR showcases British-made luxury furniture, artwork and homeware pieces and we pride ourselves in a close and trusting relationship with our makers and our trade partners.

How we can help you

Working with us is simple. With an AUTHOR Trade account, you’ll have access to the following;

• Benefits from discounts on full-price stock*
• Opportunities to create bespoke commissions
• Outstanding customer service from start to finish (I wonder if we have any proof of this so we can say reviewed as 5* on xxxxxx)
• Sustainable and recycled packaging where possible with trusted and safe Worldwide shipping
• Personal access to a single point of contact who will be available by phone and email to help you manage multiple client projects every step of the way

On receipt of your application and required documentation, we will contact you by e-mail to confirm the outcome of your application.

AUTHOR Trade discount is subject to availability and exclusions apply.

*Due to the wide range of makers we work with (from large to small), whose margins vary, we are unable to offer a blanket percentage discount. Optimum Trade discount will be calculated on an order-to-order basis. Please contact us if you would like further information.

Our trade offering is as follows:

• We have trade discounts on almost all of our products (up to 15%)
• First order minimum spend £2,500, with a minimum order value of £250 thereafter
• Lead times if not in stock generally 4-6 weeks and can be up to 10 weeks depending on product

You will enjoy preferred access to a wide range of British products and styles at an exclusive price. Our British sourced collections of furniture, lighting, walls & floors, gifts, accessories, artworks & sculptures will help you create your designs using rare and unique pieces that appeal to your clients’ tastes, whilst being assured that each piece truly fulfils your responsible luxury brief.

AUTHOR makes no pretence to compete with mass produced imports. We solely support British makers and manufacturing which means each piece has been produced in small runs or to order and price points are as a result higher. We choose to celebrate this and would like to encourage others to choose mindful consumption and understand the provenance of the pieces that surround them.

You will be required to submit proof of:

• Interior design certification/Organisation identification
• Company VAT registration number
• Company business card and letterhead
• 2 trade references from companies you hold trade accounts with

Incomplete applications will not be accepted. We reserve the right to make all membership determinations at our sole discretion.
