Araminta Campbell

It was tradition that sparked Araminta’s early interest in textiles, thanks to the tweed and tartan she saw at special family occasions. Much of the rest of her childhood was spent exploring nearby fields and building dens in the woodlands surrounding her home in Aberdeenshire. This was the start of the appreciation of Scotland’s natural beauty that would come to shape her work.

After achieving a degree in Embroidery from the Manchester Metropolitan University, Araminta continued to explore what could be achieved through weaving. In 2014, Araminta produced the first Araminta Campbell collection, combining unique artistry and craftsmanship with her love of nature and Scotland’s rich heritage. These remain the key inspirations for every collection.
